We currently have the following positions for Semiconductor Technologies & Instruments Pte Ltd:



Associate Engineer (Vision System/ Machine Setup)

Job Responsibilities:

•	To assemble machine vision product & vision related modules or assemblies

•	To setup vision system & commission it for setup staff

•	To conduct qualification run

•	To provide vision related services and support

•	To upkeep vision related stocks inventories

•	To liaise with vendors and suppliers on product issues

•	Meeting customer’s specification and conditions

Requirements:

•	NTC/ ITC/ Diploma in Electrical or Optics or Mechatronics Engineering

•	Minimum 1 year experience

•	Proficient in wiring/ soldering hands on work and PC setup

•	Understanding of mechanical assembly and some optical assembly

•	Fresh graduates are welcome to apply



Associate Engineer (Electrical)

Job Responsibilities:

•	Assist engineer to troubleshoot electrical circuit problem encountered in equipment assembly

•	Assist engineer to design electrical circuit, prepare electrical BOM for equipment improvement

Requirements:

•	NTC/ ITC/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering

•	Minimum 1 year experience in equipment manufacturing or maintenance



Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

•	Software Development / Customisation

•	Technical support of field service engineers when required

•	Evaluating and establishing system performance specifications

•	Coordinating design activities to improve system performance

Requirements:

•	Diploma / Degree in Electronic Engineering discipline

•	Experience in software development in the automation/ semiconductor industry

•	Proficient in Visual C++ 6.0 for machine control to control motors, input/outputs & socket programming & Visual Basic 6.0 for Graphic User Interface

•	Ability to communicate with setup engineer & customer service engineer to identify software & hardware related problem

•	Ability to troubleshoot software related problems



Vision Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

•	Vision Software Development / Customisation

•	Technical support of field service engineers when required

•	Evaluating and establishing vision system performance specifications

Requirements:

•	Degree in engineering discipline with minimum 2 years experience in software development in the automation / semiconductor industry

•	Experience in Image Processing / Vision System is an advantage

•	Strong programming skills in C/C++

•	Must have good hands-on experience in programming multi-threaded windows applications using Visual C++

•	Experience in Visual C++. Net is beneficial

•	Ability to troubleshoot electronics hardware system

•	Strong Mathematical and Algorithmic development skills

•	Proficient in English both Written and Verbal Communication

•	Some traveling is required



Manufacturing Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

•	Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and BOM perspective is properly conveyed

•	Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are ready, complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical/ historical base for future reference and to meet manufacturing requirements

•	Support, assist and manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, costs control and Engineering Change Process

•	Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing, contract manufacturer, and other support teams to complete projects to meet production, quality, cost savings, and product development goals within schedule

•	Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycles

Requirements:

•	Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

•	Prior experience with either Contract Manufacturing environment/ Equipment Manufacturing/ semiconductor industry will be an added advantage

•	Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions

•	Strong organizational skills

•	Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously

•	Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects



Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

•	Design and develop semiconductor equipment

Requirements:

•	Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

•	At least 2 - 5 years experience in automation design and use of AutoCAD or Inventor as design tool

•	Must possess knowledge and experience in the design of automation equipment or semiconductor equipment

•	Good leadership and project management skills
